In the summer of 2005 my buddy Chris Ockler and I found “Tang”, a wooden catboat made in 1915 by the prestigious east coast Crosby boatyard.
Here you’ll see pictures of our adventures with her from the ‘rescue’ phase up at Beacon Bay Marina at Lake Cayuga, NY and our transit odyssey along the Erie Canal and down the Hudson River to sailing in our homeport off Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn and our ‘refitting’ phase during the hot summer of 2006 out at Week’s Yacht Yard in Patchogue, Long Island.

Sailing large off Coney Island, Brooklyn!
